Sparky Lyle & His New Dalmatian Pup
“Sparky Lyle, New York Yankee relief pitcher, is presented with a dalmatian pup for the great job he has been doing as the Yank’s top relief artist, during pre-game festivities at Yankee Stadium, Tuesday. Lyle entered the game with Detroit in the seventh inning and went on to get a victory, his fourth, 4-2. He has also registered 24 saves thus far this year. (AP Wire)”
