1930’s Granger Tobacco Ad - Johnny Mize
Hard to pin down an exact year for this colorful ad, but eventual Hall Of Famer Johnny Mize played for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1936-41. He was traded to the New York Giants in 1942 and then spent all of 1943-45 in active military service during WWII. He finished off his career by winning 5 straight World Series Championships with the New York Yankees (1949-53).
