(L-R) Walter Johnson, Douglas Fairbanks & Babe Ruth

Hello. What do you know about Babe Ruth's exhibition in brea California?

I know a bit about it.
The game took place on October 31, 1924. Walter Johnson suited up for the game as well. Walter was in California looking to buy the Oakland Oaks of the PCL (Pacific Coast League). I have a few pictures from that day…I’m not sure if I’ve posted them here before, I know I’ve posted a few at Baseball-Fever.com: Walter Johnson & The Babe - Brea, CA.
Cheers!

1950 San Diego Padres Team
There’s several familiar names on the ‘50 Padres squad, most notably Cuban all-time-great, Saturnino Orestes Armas (Arrieta) Miñoso, or simply just Minnie Miñoso (top row, 2nd left).
